A more artistic look at the ramen :P notice that the egg looks creamy like that of Ichibantei.. there is also corn and more preserved bamboo pieces in the soup... I was unable to fully enjoy this meal though.. due to constant sneezing and a sudden cold... but from what I could taste... the soup was much more richer and saltier than that of Ichibantei.. and with a nice oily touch to it.. that really kept the soup warm throughout the meal :) it is alittle weird when you are eating it in warm Singapore.. but in colder Sapporo.. this is a must :) the style for this ramen is also different.. Ichibantei's one had a smooth theme to it... Sapporo's one was more of the crunch.. the corn and preserved bamboo gave it its crunch and the pork slices were much tougher as compared to the mouth-melting one of Ichibantei... noodles were tangy and the eggs were comparable with each other... overall I paid about $15 for this ramen.. a bit steeper than that of Ichibantei... I would give this a 7.5/10 .. the soup and ingredients are indeed richer but I guess it was too warm a night for it :P a rainy day would have made it perfect :P it does score better on ambience though.. a must for anyone who wanna try ramen the japanse street style :)
