ALoHa all ^_^x hows everyone's SIP so far? Nice to see that ym has decided to post after a long break :P nice pix too :)



Hmm.. Okay this song I think most of you have heard it already... maybe got it even in your winamp or windows media player list.. well.. it was played in the backgrounds in the recent LOST adverts..



Alittle history on this band.. Simple plan is a punk rock band... most famous recently for their song "Perfect" which was on the movie "Princess's diary 2".. and they are mainly a guitar band.. with 3 guitar players... have been rather quiet in 2005 as they were busy touring with Good Charlotte (famous for "Hold on", "Lifestyles of the rich and famous" and "The anthem") and Hoobastank (Most famous for the recent's "The reason")... and well.. from this new single from their new cd... you can see that some parts of both bands have rubbed off into this new single..



The interesting thing about this song.. which the band did not have a title for.. thus the name "untitled" .. is that.. the main instrument is the piano... which is very different from their normal guitar based music... and another thing is that... it is a very sentimental song... very different from the punk rock style of "Perfect" .. you can feel the essence of "The reason" and "Hold on" in way the song is sung... soothing.. yet soulful... and it can really draw the emotions out of the listener... really a well-done single..



I am also reccomending the video of the song... Click here for the video... it is on their main webby... and in 3 versions... I would reccomend the real player n quick time version.. as after they load.. there is minimum lag... The video is on another teen problem in the world... drink driving.. much like the video for "Hold on" which was on teen suicide... hmm.. I won't spoil the video for most of you all.. but I would say is that this video has an interesting way in letting the viewer feel the pain and shattering of a family from the pain of a loss..



Overall.. a very good song.. I give it 5/5... a much listen and watch :) msn me for the song :) do tag on the responses to this article or the song :) ... also if anyone has the midi for this song.. maybe update it on for the blog? it is quite soothing and we have been having the present midi for quite awhile :P:P
